Round 5. Hawkshead, Lake District
Round 5 didn’t go as planned, with only two rounds left I went for the win it or bin it attitude! With the race being as technical as it was I struggled to find a rhythm with that mindset. I spent most of the race riding myself into trouble and looking for the finish flag! I brought it home in 6th.. Luckily a few boys had worse days than I had and failed to finish so that’s good for the championship!
I have a break now leading into the final round in August, keen to get stuck into training and ‘cramming’ in a few other events across the water before then.
