NAMC&CC OFF ROAD SECTION MEMBERS REPORT
The North Armagh Off-Road members competing in Round 2 of the MAXXIS British Sidecarcross Championships at Blyth Motocross Park, Northumberland was sadly reduced by one when Emma Moulds was unable to participate following a MRI scan on her arm, injured in round one, which showed significantly more damage than was first thought.
Younger brother Gary, with Steve Kirwin on board had a good day a the office, despite himself having a cast removed the previous Tuesday. Riding with a wrist brace, he finished third overall, with a third, a fourth after a poor start in race 2, and a third. The overall win was taken by 18 times Champion Stuart Brown, with Brett Wilkinson second. This result lifts Gary and Steve up to third overall in the Championships, with the next round scheduled for Foxhills near Swindon on 1 July.
Club members, and cousins, Geoff and David Ingram finished a superb eleventh overall. The Lisburn men, in only their second season of racing, put on a great show in their GB mainland debut.
