Rider Comment : We struggled with an electrical fault, my bike stopped on the line for the first race, I was half a lap down when it finally fired up again. I was feeling up for it today, but couldn’t push hard , as my bike was playing up, I borrowed another bike for the final race and scored some decent points. Looking forward to the next event.

Rider Comment : A silly crash in the first moto left me with a lot to do, I rode back for fifth place, it was good though, I found a good rhythm and that set me up for the day. The track was really rough at the end of the day, and that’s they way like it. Yes we have a few things to work on , that said, its going to be a long season and I expect to keep building on my speed and fitness.
Sean raced through the field in the final moto of the day, to take third place at the flag, just missing out on 3rd Overall by one point!

Jordan Martin
Rider Comment : “Wasn’t the start I was looking for, I qualified well, and that’s when my luck ended, I took a hefty crash in the first moto and hurt my ribs, I rode the second moto and managed a to score a few points, by then track was really rough, so I decided to sit out the final moto. I will keep working hard and hope to turn my results around for the next round”

Management Comment
Firstly, as a Team, may we send get well soon wishes to the riders who got injured at Desertmartin on Easter Monday.
MX1
Robert suffered machine difficulties throughout the day, it was a damage limitation exercise , and Robert dug deep to end the day joint 4th overall. I know he was frustrated, as he looked good in practice. I have total confidence that Hammy will be at the sharp end of the pack , fighting for the win before long.
Sean impressed me, not just his speed, but his ability to read the race. He will win races this year, when the final few pieces of the jigsaw are in place – watch this space!
MX2 “The Young Guns”
All three of the boys were looking up for it during practice, it was unfortunate that Jordan took a hard knock in the first race, which pretty much ruined his day.
Arron is getting more confidant and stronger every weekend, 6th overall is a solid start.
David scoring three wind in the Semi Expert Class was somewhat overshadowed by way of his 4th place finish the Premier Class in the final moto of the day.
He still needs to find a couple of seconds a lap to fight it out with the big boys – but they have been served notice?
Cheers
Steve
