Lady of the Lake Festival Grasstrack – Sunday 15 July 2018

Fermanagh Motorcycle Club Ltd recently held their third motorcycle grasstrack in Irvinestown during the Lady of the Lake festival.

It was a great event with a high number of riders. Following a wet start, the rain dried up quickly to create a faster track for both the adults and youths (from six years old and upwards) attending the event.

In total 37 youth signed on and it was great to see new riders coming on board. 77 signed on in the adult section – a mixture of grade 1, grade 2 and grade 3 riders.

The event was packed with exciting racing and some stiff competition, the day ending on a high with the final race, the Lady of the Lake Le Mans start which was won by Barry Donaghy.

The club would like to thank everyone who helped out on the day as it would not have been possible to run the event without them. They would also like to thank all the riders who took part in the event, some having travelled long distances. The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all and a huge success.
