The North Armagh Motorcycle & Car Club Off Road Section promoted round 5 of the Championships on a sunny but showery day at Tandragee.

In the Ballymac Hotel Sidecarcross Championship, defending Ulster Champion Neil Campbell & Craig Parmenter made a surprise return to the track after his recent surgery and ended up winning the overall, beating Gary Moulds & Steve Kirwin, the 2018 Championship leaders into second overall, despite Moulds & Kirwin winning a thrilling third race.

Third overall were the Stoneyford cousins Geoff & David Ingram, again showing strong form, also making a welcome return to the track were Dean Faulkner and Gordon Ringland in only their second outing this year, they ended up fourth overall.

In the Gilchrist Plant Hire Premier Quad class, Mark McLernon stamped his authority on the day by winning all three races in style, veteran Comber man Justin Reid came out second overall after two seconds and a third, while Championship leader Michael McAneney had to settle for the bronze medal position, racing was close through the pack, but McLernon was unstoppable at the front and was never headed.

The GMG Contracts Clubmans Quad Class opening race was held in  a heavy downpour which was unpleasant for riders and spectators alike, but the remaining two were held in perfect conditions and both these were won by Stephen Mulholland, ruing his dnf in race 1 second was Sean Cassidy after producing the ride of the day in race two when his bike refused to start and he came from dead last to fifth, and Kyle Orr picked up third overall, while Noel Bradley picked up the overall win with consistent finishes.

The J&L Race Prep/Lloyd Acoustics Youth Quad Classes, the 250 Class winner with yet another impressive treble was Stewart McMullan from Jamie Quinn from Omagh a fighting second after three spirited races, third was Andrew Black.

The 110 Class had Luke Dillon from Moira taking the overall after cousin Ross rear shock exploded on the last lap of race three while leading, second was class new boy Travis Toye, while Ross had done enough with his two wins to hold on to third..

The 50cc Automatic Class produced another treble with a dominant day for young Blake Orr with a second overall for  Adrian McVey third, Conor Bradley was third with Jacob Glenn from Dollingstown fourth
